The Company of Musical Theatre, Ottawa, Ontario
Presented November 23-December 3, 1995 at Centrepointe Theatre, Nepean, Ontario, Canada
Founded in 1991 by Margo Royce-Deriger and Peter Evans after their successful 1990 production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, the Company of Musical Theatre was a non-professional theatre company focused on nurturing the musical theatre talents of youth in Canada's national capital region. Although the Company was fated to a short existence, it did serve as a starting point to many professional careers, inspiring many of its young performers and stagehands to carry on the dream of life on the stage.
