I haven't been to Hong Kong in so long. 14 years ago, I had a life-altering event that left a permanent effect on my life that took years to overcome and grow from. Now that I'm 28 years old, a visit to Hong Kong had a layer of sentimentality and spirituality to it. It felt like a second lap on my life.

With who I am today, I was able to connect with the city and landscape far more deeply as it was sewn with confidence & strength along with the acceptance & closure of the past. The film photography I created with my Leica M6 reached a depth that my Japan photos couldn't convey because of a cultural and emotional connection I have to Hong Kong.
