In this video, we’ll build a Salesforce Approval Process using the new Flow-based approach instead of the classic approval process.
We’ll use a Record-Triggered Flow on the Opportunity object to automatically submit a record for approval when the Opportunity Amount is greater than $10,000. The approval request will be sent to the Opportunity owner’s manager, making this a real-world and practical example.
What you’ll learn:
Why Salesforce is moving from classic approvals to Flow
Creating a Record-Triggered Flow for approvals
Defining approval entry criteria using Amount
Submitting records for approval via Flow
Assigning the approval to the manager automatically
Testing the approval end-to-end
This is a simple and beginner-friendly walkthrough, perfect for admins and developers learning modern Salesforce automation.
