Ultimate ARC RAIDERS Sound Settings Guide ✅ (Fix Footsteps)
I’ve seen a lot of threads about Arc Raiders footstep audio, so I decided to test it myself.
I loaded into a solo match with two enemy accounts and manually listened to footstep differences across audio settings.
From my testing, Night Mode gave a clear boost to footstep clarity.
Windows Loudness EQ also gave a strong boost, and when combined with Night Mode, it might be the most noticeable improvement overall.
I also tested Windows Sonic, Dolby Atmos, and DTS:X for comparison.
One more thing I noticed: crouch-walking is extremely quiet — much harder to detect than slow-walking, so if you're trying to stay sneaky, it's worth using.
