Extract Data - Scrapy Crawl Spider
Web scraping is the process of scraping or extracting data from websites using programs or other tools. And in this video lesson, we will learn how to extract selected data from scrapy spider.

To extract data, we have to yield/generate it from the spider. After doing so we can run our spider which is also called crawling. To crawl our spider, we can use the crawl command like -
~ scrapy crawl spider_name
We can also specify a file to which the data can be extracted. To do that we can use the -o and the filename like -
~ scrapy crawl spider_name -o output.json
