Over 111 days to celebrate the Euros, Adam Massey rowed, in his garage in rural Czech Republic, the distance from Elland Road, Leeds United’s stadium, to Camp Nou, Barcelona’s stadium – a distance of 2,000kms. Using a combination of R, Python + APIs, his sister Charly has applied the travelling salesman's dilemma to plot the optimum 'route', allowing Adam to visit as many local football stadiums in England, France and Spain along the shortest distance. In this session Adam and Charly will demo their work, showing how a little bit of creativity can take away from the reality of your daily garage workout and justify footie viewing to a young family.

Our speakers are Adam Massey and Charly Massey. Adam is a Group Product Manager at Oracle NetSuite in Brno, Czech Republic. His team is responsible for the development of user assistance solutions for NetSuite's global customers including knowledge base, in-app help, and digital assistant technologies.
