At 14 years old, I was sent to Robert Land Academy, a military-style reform school for troubled teenage boys. I was sent there because I skipped school and played too much World of Warcraft causing me to flunk the 9th grade. This video is the story of my time there.
In summer 2025, RLA officially shut it's doors after almost 50 years in operation. The school is facing over 120 lawsuits for accusations of various forms of abuse. The news piqued my interest in documenting the school.
