PD-5 NSA-listed destroyer with 10+ tons of force bends, breaks, and mangles hard drives and solid-state media, including data platters and other internal components, preventing data recovery. Garner’s exclusive IRONCLAD Erasure and Destruction Verification System takes before and after destruction images of the media and logs the media’s serial number, the user ID, witness ID, and date in a password-protected system. IRONCLAD automatically generates a Certificate of Destruction report complete with the images, crush depth of the PD-5’s destruction wedge, and logged information for audit and archival purposes.
The PD-5 uses no hydraulics and runs off standard 120 wall power.
