New Features for Pinterest Boards
Despite the uncertainty of the coming months, Pinterest users have been creating 35% more monthly boards to plan ahead for the future. Top Pinterest categories beauty, women’s fashion and home decor have seen increases of 44%, 95% and 36% respectively.

Pinterest is now adding brand new features to allow users to create action from visual inspiration. This includes notes to self, board favourites, automatic grouping of themes, suggested board templates and a new board toolbar.
Notes to self will allow users to add private notes to pins so that they can come back and take the action they intended to. The new board toolbar makes it easier to navigate through created boards. With boards containing an average of 150 pins, this will make organisation much easier. Lastly, board favourites will allow users to pin the most relevant pins to the top of the board.
