Should you respond to every Google review? Here’s the facts!

So this came up in a conversation I had with a manager at a business I just love to work with.

They had a customer service issue that night and although they attempted at length to fix the situation and in the end the customer seemed happy, they still received a negative review.

Ugh…yeah that’s the worst because ultimately you’re human, your team is human and we all fall short of the grace of Google…see what I did there ;)

So when they saw the review, same time as me, they instructed me not to respond….

Ok, truth is they are not alone by any means I’m feeling this way…people can be jerks…they know very well that this will hurt your reputation and possibly affect your business…it’s low folks…in this day and age…it should be abundantly clear you are wrong for your community and people need to be warned…not that every nitpicky issue should shouted on the rooftops of Facebook or yelp….again see what I did there? :)

Still, this video is my response and the logic behind it…it’s not personal it’s just facts…
