Figma MCP server – Desktop vs Remote
I’d like to share a demonstration of the capabilities, differences, and limitations of the Figma Desktop MCP and Figma Remote MCP.
Personally, I use (experiment) with the desktop MCP for design to code flows, and the remote MCP for code to design flows.

The generated code depends on the design/code parity, model capabilities, existing context, and prompt techniques.
