Phalen's Maneuver: Carpal Tunnel Test
The Phalen maneuver is used to diagnose carpal tunnel syndrome. The maneuver should be performed and held for 30 to 60 seconds. Pain in the first three fingers and part of the ring finger indicates median nerve compression.
