Purchasing the right tool to remove or install your hubcaps can be a lifesaver! This is why our team put together another "How To" video about the value of having the correct tool for hubcap installation and for wheel cover removal. It is also meant to show you the right way to use that tool and how to remove your center caps safely.
If you wanted to remodel your kitchen, you wouldn't try and pound in nails with anything but a hammer; if you wanted to cut tile for your bathroom, you definitely wouldn't reach for a steak knife! The right tool can make or break a project, can save or cost you money and can either help you avoid injuring yourself or can make it easier to do so. This is why we created this video, we wanted to show our customers about a little known tool that we carry that can help you install and remove your hub caps. Our tool has a wide extractor edge to aid in removal and it is best used on the most solid areas of your hubcap (avoid the window areas!) so your wheel cover doesn't crack. Also, this tool is equipped with a rubber mallet to make it easier for anyone to evenly and safely install their hubcap onto their car or truck.
Along with this information, we also show you how to remove your center caps from your vehicle. Using a flathead screwdriver, you simply find the notch already on the cap (thanks to the manufacturer!) and gently pry off the wheel cap. This is particularly helpful when you are missing a center cap and need to find the part numbers on the back before you order a replacement!
