How To Delay Firing Your Tracking Pixels

Most websites these days, have tracking pixels on them - these could be Facebook custom audience pixels, or Twitter conversion pixels - or any other social or ad tracking pixels you use.

The issue though, is that EVERYONE who visits your site gets added to those custom audiences - even if they are low-quality visits, where they bounced from your page within a few seconds.

Wouldn't it be great then, if you could choose to fire those tracking pixels based on real-world data, to be optimised to JUST the people that are genuinely interested in your stuff? This way, your PPC ad spend isn't going to be spent on advertising to your custom audience that might be full of crappy, low-quality members.

Well, that is what this video shows you how to do!

In the video, Nathan Hague shows you step-by-step how to use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics, to best work out when the timer should be firing your pixels, and THEN how to actually set it all up.

Nathan assumes you already have your Tag Manager pixel on your site, in this video. If you don't have that installed, follow us on Twitter @australiawow and ask him there.

Here's to better conversions!
