Lazy Load - Optimize Images By WPRocket is my preferred free lazy loading plugin. It's quite aggressive and under certain conditions can cause images to not load but if it works for your website it will yield high-performance gains. You will see a reduction in page weight, and request count. This plugin also optimizes YouTube videos by replacing the player with an image (this will help clear the defer JS warning for YouTube videos). Remember if this plugin causes any issues simply deactivate it and give A3 Lazy Loading a try as its less aggressive but less prone to issues.
