Review - VENOM: THE LAST DANCE (2024)

Tom Hardy returns as Eddie Brock aka "VENOM" in a one-man buddy-comedy/road-movie that seems to be taking a stab at "WOLVERINE & DEADPOOL's" ironic nostalgia for bygone bad superhero movies gimmick - but played for maudlin sincerity and only for its own forgettable previous entries; as the big snarly alien faces down angry military dudes and a handful of other space monsters while dropping tiresome exposition supposedly setting up more "SPIDER-MAN" quasi-spinoffs before Disney drops by to (presumably) collect Tom Holland's next suit. Another bad, disposable entry in an at least mercifully forgettable series that doesn't even have "MADAM WEB's" courtesy to be uniquely strange.
