Why learn AK in Rust? | Short Rust Guide
In this video I give a take on why you should be learning the AK fairly soon after getting into Rust - Whilst I won’t suggest you need to absolutely beam, or that you need to spray down players at 200m, or even that you need to have learned the recoil pattern completely - Any level of AK proficiency is great, especially for the specific reason I go into in this short video.

Rust is an open world survival game available on PC and in Beta on Console (Xbox and PlayStation). The goal of the game is to design and build bases, gather resources and defend your loot against other players, groups and zergs. Play through the primitive early game and make it to end-game PVP with tier 3 weapons over the span of a wipe.
A big part of Rust is the AK or Assault Rifle, a tier 3 weapon that has a learnable recoil pattern that many players will spent hours spraying the AK on Aim train and battlefield servers. The learning curve to practicing the AK is steep, but with high reward often causing debate around the use of such a spray pattern but if you wish to play on servers like UKN EU NA, Perfect Aim Train EU NA, Raid Simulator EU NA, Bedwards EU NA or other such battlefield servers, you’ll often find that the most common arenas or lobbies are those for the tier 3 and AK specific lobbies.
