GIPHY Launches New 'Hire Me Button' to Get More Artists Paid
GIPHY proudly supports independant artists and freelancers. The new Hire Me button for verified GIPHY Artists allows Brands and registered users to request paid commissions from these talented freelancers. All rates and fees are negotiated between the Artist and the requestor and GIPHY does not take a cut of any proceeds.
If you’re a verified artist: Go to your settings page and turn on the “Hire Me” feature. Once this is on, a button will appear on your channel (viewable on desktop web browsers). This way, any logged in user on GIPHY (including brands!) will know you’re available for hire and can send you an inquiry!
If you’re a user and/or partner: Once you’re logged in to your GIPHY account, you can submit your request on any Verified Artist channel page. Simply click the “Hire Me” button and fill out your content request, budget, and expected deadline. Once you submit your request to the Verified Artist, you will receive a confirmation email to the address associated with your GIPHY Account.
