In St. Petersburg, following a National Bolshevik protest against immigration legislation, police officers used physical force against picketers, and then, during house searches, interrogated a SVO veteran at gunpoint. This time, Z-channels were outraged by the torture, although the discussion again turned not to widespread police brutality, but to the nationality of the police officers. The Investigative Committee and Alexander Bastrykin came to the defense of the war supporters.
