Are the overwatch 2 developers really listening to the players? Developer update

Aronn Keller posted a developer update and while it's nice to hear some updates from the devs it still feels like they aren't getting the point that most players are trying to convey to them. It's as if the devs are listening to what we are saying but not really understanding why we are saying it. They tend to fix problems and then create new ones that are carbon copies of the issues they just solved. A good example is ashe 1 shot with mercy pocket, why can sojourn still 1 shot with mercy pocket?
