On May 27, 2024, a severe cyclonic storm moved nearly northwards over coastal Bangladesh and adjoining coastal areas of West Bengal. At least seven people were killed and millions were left without power because of the devastating winds of up to 120 kph and storm surges.
Around 8,00,000 people have been evacuated by the authorities in Bangladesh. The country is predicted to get more rainfall from the storm as compared to West Bengal. This is being caused by Cyclone Remal. Watch the video to know more.
