Choosing the Right Camera Setting. P vs A vs M Mode. When to use each one?
A beautiful day in Detroit and some tips on getting the most out of your vlog camera.
I wanted to explain the three shooting modes I use most for filming my vlogs and how each one has a different level of required involvement vs the image control you have.
I am currently using a LUMIX G85 by Panasonic. It is a mirrorless camera so when I mentioned in this video that is "DSLR-esque" I mean that it functionally behaves like a DSLR while not technically having a floppy mirror ;)

The kit lens that the G85 comes with (linked above) is what I use primarily. It is a 12-60mm f/3.5-5.6. It does a decent job for all around shooting with some decent "artsy" capabilities.
When I really want to get fancy with lower depth of field I switch to my 25mm prime lens. I used my prime lens in the arcade sequence in this video.
