Landing at Katunayake Airport from Heathrow.
This video starts as our Srilankan Airways Airbus flew over the southernmost part of India (you can see a tiny bit of India at the very beginning) goes over the Palk Strait and finally lands in Katunayake Airport shortly afterwards.
The weather obstructs a clear view and dirty porthole glass does not help either.
I went to the UK principally to preserve my UK Permanent Residence status and I found my time on the Sceptered Isle highly stressful and Covid-19 did not help either - rather like the dirty portholes.
I don't know if I will ever set foot on an plane again as I am 68 years old.
