How to add Categories to a Jekyll blog - Jekyll Tutorial 19
This one is detailed. Skip to the steps if you like. Jekyll Categories is a little tricky when it comes to listing out all the posts according to categories. I have tried to explain it as simple as possible.
Steps demonstrated in the video:
1. Create a Jekyll Site - 1:56

3. Show categories in posts - 13:50
4. Show a list of posts segregated by categories on the homepage - 17:55

Imagine you have a blog where you discuss very different things all together. Many bloggers post their personal experiences along with some professional posts.
Before implementing Jekyll categories, see if your content can be divided into certain domains. For example on my blog, I have sorted my posts into Jekyll, Web-Design, Github, etc.
