Intel 24 Core i9 14900KS Raptor Lake Refresh CPU/Processor_Call of duty Warzone2
This processor is powerful, and I just installed it with the ASUS Maximus Hero motherboard and the NZXT Kraken Elite 360 cooler. At first, the temperature was a bit high, but after slightly lowering the CPU voltage to 1.25V and running a Cinebench test, core 5 peaked at 93°C and the rest stayed below 90°C. That’s excellent for this processor — it runs perfectly without crashes or overheating.
All games run flawlessly with the RTX 4070 at the highest settings and excellent FPS.
Follow these steps to lower the voltage and get the best performance from this CPU without sacrificing speed:
1. Enter the ASUS BIOS.
2. Go to the 'Extreme Tweaker' section.
3. Find the option: "Global Core SVID Voltage"
Set it to: Adaptive Mode
4. Below that, locate: "Additional Turbo Mode CPU Core Voltage"
Set the value to: 1.25
5. Don't change any other settings.
6. Press F10 to Save and Exit.
After booting into Windows, run Cinebench R23 again and test using the Multi-Core option.
