What you aspire to be could also be the thing that’s holding you back. It's a trap!

As humans, we’re prone to comparing ourselves to others.

We used to compare ourselves to our neighbours because that's who we saw each day.

Now we live in a different world where we see the Beckhams, Elon Musk, Taylor Swift and compare ourselves to them.

Even our neighbours seem like they’re doing better than we are, according to social media at least!

You should be careful of the comparisons you make.

Our latest video explains the biggest danger of the ‘Comparison Trap’ and offers a simpler and more successful alternative for businesses and individuals who want to grow their sales revenues.

We see enormously successful people in different walks of life and we compare ourselves to what they do. How they live.

The danger is that, with your extreme target set on matching them, you start making changes.

Let’s say you start at 0/10 and want to get better. You succeed and move to 2/10.

That’s real progress but, if you compare yourself to the 10/10 target, you're constantly going to be doing yourself down.

This could be a danger to your motivation and damaging to your progress.

Instead of comparing to what’s happening in the wider world and trying to be like successful people, why not narrow your focus to the one person that really matters? Yourself.

It’s important to remember that your job is not to be as good as everybody else.

All we can be in life is the best version of ourselves. Compare yourself to who you were yesterday, last week, last year.

This way, you will have a true reflection of your progress.

That’s more likely to spur you on to continuing your growth and will, eventually, get you close to the success you desire.
