⯈ ABOUT
Substance Painter Live Link allows you to connect Substance Painter with Autodesk Maya, create and update textures, so you can iterate faster and speed up your texturing workflow. Spending more time in texturing your assets and less time plugging in maps and shader networks. I hope you find it very useful!
⯈ IMPORTANT
Since Substance3D recently updated Painter (2020.2.2) and their API, I will add more features as they release said updates.
⯈ VERSION INFORMATION
This plug in works with Marmoset Toolbag 3 & 4.
Some of the new things you can find on version 2.1.0:
• Easier installation
• Improved loading time (reduced number of external libraries)
• Removal folder dependency (that will fix many of the permission issues)
• Support for UDIMS
• Support for UDIMS in Octane
• Support for the new Substance Painter workflow (UDIMS & normal texture sets)
• Improved baking times
• Plugin icon/button returns (missing button in the previous version caused a lot of confusion)
• Improved error/success messages in the log
