Prepping the body blank and getting it flattened off ready for gluing the top on using a combination of Triton random orbital sander, fret levelling beam & scrapers to remove any high spots and glue residue from the joint.
As I'm going over the blank I'm using my fingertips to feel across the grain for any spots that need to be worked - what you feel will be much more obvious than what you can see - and going over it with the scrapers finishes the surface; you can really see the grain start to pop.
