Singing from an early age, Maiara spent her formative years performing before releasing her first single, Suede & Velvet, in 2022. She spent the last year in Brazil, working on a TV show and making music with Brazilian producers and artists. Rain marks her first single of 2023, and a dedicated plan to release a song each month for the next year.
Aside from music, Maiara has been acting from a young age, beginning her career on Disney Channel's Cory in the House. She currently recurs on Freeform/Hulu's Good Trouble. She also writes and directs, and her first feature film as a writer/director releases in 2024. She also runs a creative studio in DTLA and loves building community. “I'm a storyteller at heart, every medium I work in allows me to bring stories to life,” says Maiara. “I look forward to sharing more music across genres.”
