It's your share of the cost to repair an accident, like a collision. The insurance company pays the difference. But pay attention: The lower the insurance premium, the higher the deductible. Or you can reverse it, choosing to pay a reduced deductible.
2- How to save on insurance costs?
Don't opt for a replacement car, reduce the mileage for towing and roadside assistance, and choose basic coverage.
If you have another type of insurance, check if they already offer plumber, electrician, and locksmith services. Install a tracker and immobilizer, leave your car in a parking lot, and set a reference value based on the FIPE table (Brazilian vehicle valuation table).
