"You Belong Here” is a TV series highlighting inspiring immigrant professional women from around the world. You will hear their immigrant journeys, challenges, and successes. They also share practical tips on how they are living wholehearted American dreams.
The show is brought to you by You Belong Here Foundation, which is committed to igniting meaningful conversations and deepening compassion in our community.
This episode features Indian Americans Juhi Khanna and Tanu Pant, co-founders of The White Mulberry. Host and Producer, Porcia Chen Silverberg, speaks with Juhi and Tanu about how they became entrepreneurs while managing their roles as stay-at-home moms.
Juhi and Tanu share their stories of unlikely business accomplishments: one quit her successful career of engineering to become an artist and the other, fed up with the lack of respect as a “just stay-at-home mom” in the US, became an entrepreneur. Their enterprise supports a community of immigrant women artisans in the Bay Area.
