qBittorrent: How to verify your VPN is working to prevent your identy from leaking?
In this video I will go over 3 methods to verify your qBittorrent VPN is actually working.
First is the manual check, compairing the VPN ip to our real ip.
Next, we check I know what you download to see if any downloads are detected.
Finally, we use Torguard Torrent IP to check what IP they detect for an active torrent.
This is part of my unraid media server series, using the binhex qbittorrent-vpn container.
However, most steps will apply to other setups and even other torrent clients.

Command: curl ifconfig.io
EDIT (Dec 03 2023): curl ifconfig.io seems to fail, you can use "curl http://checkip.amazonaws.com" instead.
