Clingmans Dome | Cinematic | The Great Smoky Mountains | Highest Point On The Appalachian Trail
Some of the best views in Tennessee can be seen from Clingmans Dome. It was fairly crowded that day and pretty windy so we decided to make this a cinematic view of the Clingmans Dome hike. Clingman's Dome is the highest peak in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park as well as in Tennessee. It is the highest peak on the Appalachian Trail. This is the third highest mountain east of the Mississippi River. It offers amazing 360° views of the Smokies. On clear days it is said that you can see up to 100 miles in every direction.
