Results
PIVX = 10 Hours 53 Minutes
Zcash = 23 hours 10 Minutes
Note: For this particular test run, Zcash synced faster than expected, while PIVX took much longer than expected. So YMMV depending on which peers you are connected to at any given point in time.
Note2: I realized that I didn't enable UPnP on PIVX wallet. So its default port would have been blocked and may have led to the longer sync time than usual. Have started another sync run with it enabled to see if it makes a different.
