Air Force TACP Jumps From MV 22 Osprey in Intense Medevac Mission
Watch U.S. Air Force Tactical Air Control Party (TACP) specialists take on an intense airborne medevac mission during Exercise Northern Strike 26-2.
In this action-packed military training operation, TACP specialists from the U.S. Air Force's 14th Air Support Operations Squadron and the Georgia Air National Guard's 165th Air Support Operations Squadron parachute from a U.S. Marine Corps MV-22B Osprey before conducting a simulated casualty evacuation.
After securing the casualty, the team loads the patient onto a C-130 Hercules from the Missouri Air National Guard's 180th Airlift Squadron. The mission continues as medical specialists from the Oklahoma Air National Guard's 137th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron provide critical patient care.
This joint training took place during Exercise Northern Strike 26-2 at the Alpena Combat Readiness Training Center, Michigan, bringing together multiple U.S. military units to strengthen joint readiness and interoperability.
