This stunning Macallan was distilled in 1948 and matured for 51 years before being bottled in 1999 for Macallan's Select Reserve Series. There were just 366 bottles in this release, with each being filled on a different day of the year. As such, each bottle has a totally unique bottling date, hence the 'ONLY THIS BOTTLE' seen above the bottling date on the label. The official name of the bottle is the Macallan 1948 Select Reserve 51 Year old.

Presented in a wooden tube, as well as an outer tube and a certificate of authenticity, this bottle is quintessentially Macallan.
