In this video I test the Aqara FP300 presence sensor in Home Assistant and compare all integration methods:
ZHA, Zigbee2MQTT, and HomeKit.

I show you what really works, what fails, and which integration gives you the most features.

   • Aqara FP300 - Will this work in Home Assis...

I tested:
Zigbee mode via Aqara Home
Home Assistant with HomeKit integration
Direct pairing with Zigbee2MQTT
ZHA integration issues missing detection entity
Distance, sensitivity, and AI learning behavior

If you’re planning to buy the Aqara FP300 and use it in Home Assistant, this video will save you time and frustration.

From my testing:
Zigbee2MQTT gives the most control and exposes all features.
ZHA is missing important entities.
Thread / Matter behaves the same as HomeKit with only basic sensors.
