In the Dart programming language, inheritance is a way for a class (called the subclass) to extend the functionality of another class (called the superclass). When a subclass inherits from a superclass, it automatically has access to the superclass's instance variables and methods. The subclass can also override or extend the superclass's methods to customize their behavior.
