UPDATE: How to adapt the Excel template "Stock Portfolio" for 2026!
The video explaining an Excel template for portfolio performance is very popular, but unfortunately, it only covers 2025.
If you want to use this template for both 2025 AND 2026, you'll need some Excel knowledge OR you can watch this video and download an extended template from me or from excel-vorlagen.net :)
In this video, I present two methods to make the template usable for both 2025 and 2026.
Method 1: Extend the 2025 table downwards to include data from 2026. Then, adjust the chart data indentation accordingly.
Method 2: Duplicate the worksheet containing the 2025 data. Enter the 2026 data there (delete the 2025 data). Next, create another worksheet for a combined table of data from 2025 and 2026.
Use the formula:
=VSTACK('Value Development 2025'!B5:C56;'Value Development 2026'!B5:C56)
Then format the data as date and currency and create a line chart.
