Lesson 9- Expressive Conducting
As a Choral Conductor, you must be able to express yourself as well as your understanding of the music in your gestures and on the face.
The rigidity of the conventional beat patterns must be modified in order to allow the expressive qualities of the music such as the phrasing and others to be conveyed through your gestures.
In this lesson we will learn that, the refinement of the basic conducting gestures may not necessarily be expansive but should illustrate to the ensemble the nature of the music
