Gas boilers don't come with a power cable, and it's usually short. The cable in our Baxi gas boiler (Italy) turned out to be about 1 meter long. What should I do? Remove the boiler casing and replace the cable with a longer one! I crimped a 3x0.75mm PVC computer cable using NShVI connectors. The boiler is working great!
