The Year RuneScape Almost Closed (OSRS)
Old School RuneScape these days almost always has at least 90,000 players online at all times, any day of the week, however it didn’t used to be that way. Just a few short years ago the online player base would drop as low as just 3000 with highs reaching maybe around 20,000. Today I want to explain why this happened and how it took until 2016 for OSRS to become more popular than RS3.
