Focusrite Compatibility with Big Sur, Apple Silicon & Rosetta 2
Which @FocusriteTV interfaces are compatible with the latest macOS Big Sur? In this video I explore just which interfaces are safe with Big Sur and even which hardware is recommended or not recommended for use with Focusrite interfaces. There is a lot to keep on top of right now with macOS 11 (Big Sur), Apple Silicon (M1) and Rosetta 2 and I hope this helps clear up some confusion.

"There have been reports that Focusrite Control may function with the Rosetta emulation, but Focusrite drivers will not install. Unfortunatly, as the Saffire range requires drivers they will almost certainly not work on the new M1 Silicon Macs.
As development support for the Saffire range has now ended, it's not likely that they will ever be compatible with the M1 Silicon Macs unless Apple extends it's backwards compatibility (not something they're particularly known for)."
