High voltage is easy
Using a simple blocking generator circuit and a TDCS, you can generate a high-voltage arc. All the components can be taken from an old CRT TV; there aren't many of them, so even a beginner can assemble this circuit.
Observe safety precautions when working with high voltage!!!
