I don’t know about you, but I actually preferred having the My Computer icon on the screen of the desktop. looks like modern versions of windows don’t have it by default anymore. But you know! In Windows 10 the My Computer icon is named "This PC" and it’s pretty easy to get back.
After installing Windows, you'll only see the Recycle Bin icon on the desktop. If you're missing the My Computer or This PC, My Network Places, or My Documents icons on the desktop, follow the steps to display them.
