A flower gets easier to draw when you can see the structure underneath each petal.
In this lesson, you'll learn how to draw a flower from the center outward using a simple box, center axis, plane shifts, and value changes. The goal is to make each petal feel like it has form before the details take over.
You'll see how to lightly map the flower, find the angles inside each petal, shade with the form, pull highlights back out with an eraser, and use dark values to make the drawing feel finished.
