VL53L0X Rangefinder, distance meter.
The VL53L0X is a Time of Flight distance sensor unlike any other! The sensor contains a tiny, invisible laser source and a corresponding transducer. The VL53L0X can determine "time of flight," or the time it takes for light to return to the transducer. Because it uses a very narrow light source, it's only suitable for determining the distance to the surface directly in front of it. Unlike sonar, which reflects ultrasonic waves, the detection "cone" is very narrow. Unlike IR distance sensors, which attempt to measure the amount of reflected light, the VL53L0X is much more accurate and has no linearity issues or "double imaging," where you can't tell whether an object is very far away or very close. ♥♥ Sketch http://worldelectronic.ru/dalnomer_vl...
