Adjectives for Elementary English Students!
What is an adjective? An adjective describes a noun. It tells us whether it is big, small, tall, delicious, short, blue, white, and many many more!!
Here are some ways for how you order adjectives:
1. Subject + (be) + adjective + noun
Singapore is a hot country.
This is delicious pizza.
2. Subject + (be) + adjective [no noun]
Singapore is hot.
This book is interesting.
3. Very/Quite/not very + adjective
That man is very tall!
That man is quite tall! (He's tall, but not very tall)
That man is not very tall! (This is a nice way to say he is short!)
Adjectives are super important vocabulary words, and we highly recommend you learn a lot!
