How much does it cost to build a children's camp?
I think this rather lengthy video will be helpful for those embarking on the path to building a children's camp and for those interested in understanding how the cost of a child's trip to a commercial children's camp is determined.
I wouldn't say that in this video I'm trying to convince people to build their own camp; rather, I'm trying to dispel the idea that a tent camp isn't that expensive and is quite easy.
We've completed the season, dismantled the tents, and are continuing to move materials to warehouses. We now have some time to share the number of buildings and their construction costs.
This year, I've clearly learned that infrastructure consumes a larger portion of the budget than the space. The good news is that infrastructure investment is significantly higher at the start than during the project's development. It's always worth factoring in 20-30% contingency costs, as human error, construction errors, and rework will always occur.
