In today’s tutorial I’ll be demonstrating how to create a simple but modern metaball logo design with Inkscape 1.0.1.
Step by step
00:00 | Inkscape 1.0 Tutorial: Metaball Logo Design
00:09 | Grab the CIRCLES TOOL and create a circle.
00:14 | Set stroke and remove fill.
00:27 | Duplicate the object and create a 5x2 tiles.
00:35 | Enable this snapping option.
00:47 | Make sure to snap to nodes.
01:10 | Convert objects to path.
01:15 | Grab the NODES TOOL and were going to break all nodes.
01:27 | The idea here is to separate them so that we can remove all the unnecessary segments.
01:33 | Now with the ERASER TOOL, let's remove unnecessary segments.
01:59 | After we achieved our desired shape, we can now join the nodes.
02:08 | Set fill and remove stroke.
